Based in New Zealand’s Nelson Valley, Freestyle Hops grow hops of unparalleled quality and character, which intimately reflect their natural environment. Now, they are joining forces with Frenchies and Hopsters Co-Op Brewery to develop an exclusive series of unique, single hopped IPAs, and each of the beers in the series will showcase one of their premium hop varieties.
This 6.5% Cold IPA showcases the Kohia Nelson hop, which combines Motueka, Rakau, and New Zealand Cascade with New Zealand passionfruit. It reflects a new process that the Freestyle Hops team have been experimenting with, whereby they add botanicals to hops and produce a uniform pellet, which creates some really unexpected and tasty flavours.
This and more can be found in the Cold IPA, which Frenchies has integrated with maize, golden oats and pils.
